This is an approximately 3 mile loop (with lots of options to add more) near Molalla around Hopkins Demonstration Forest. The trail is through woodlands and is mostly shaded.
Hopkins Demonstration Forest is part of Forest Forever, Inc. which promotes science-based experiential education, to enhance understanding of, and appreciation for the processes, complexities, cultural heritage and benefits of sustainable woodland management.
Sign up with Sandra (text preferred) before noon the day before (11/17/23) to get information on where and when to meet. Carpools are not guaranteed and up to each individual member if they want to drive or have other people in their car.

Hiking Distance: +/- 3 miles RT.
Elevation Gain: 557 feet.
Driving Distance: ~70 miles RT.

EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MÉDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
