The Easton Glacier route ascends from the southern aspect of the mountain over the crevassed glacier passing Sherman Crater and the Roman Wall on the way to the summit.

The South Spur is a non-technical climb and the most popular ascent of Mt Adams. The angle of the slope will not exceed 30 deg which aids in the glissade back to camp after a long day on the mountain.
This climb is a great introduction to big mountain camping and climbing. Bigger than Mt Hood but not as committing as Mt Rainier, it can be a good training ground for future mountaineering goals and test your high altitude stamina.
