Classic coastal hike through woods and grassy meadows. Most of the trail is on Nature Conservancy land and with any luck we’ll spot deer or elk on the hillsides. The climb up (800 feet or so) is totally worth the effort resulting in stunning views of Salmon River the coast to the south. Be prepared for wet & windy conditions. Weather can be lovely or lousy.
