Bugaboo Ridge to Bachelor Mtn. -- CANCELED
This hike near Marion Forks has everything that makes hiking in the Old Cascades wonderful: wildflowers, big trees, fantastic views. If my rickety old body cooperates, we will hike to the top of Bachelor Mountain via the Bugaboo Ridge Trail (7.8 miles round trip). If it is uncooperative, we will hike to the top of Bachelor Mountain via the shorter Bachelor Mountain Trail (3.8 miles round trip). Either way, this promises to be a great day. Keep in mind that there is very little shade on top. Bring plenty of water and munchies.
