Develop your “trail eyes” for water as we assess and work on drainage issues on the beautiful Hart’s Cove trail. You will get practice in identifying drainage issues, choosing location of drainage features, and constructing and maintaining drainage features.
Hiking information:
We’ll be hiking roughly 2 miles to assess and tackle drainage issues on the trail near Chitwood Creek. Trail heads immediately down switchbacks from the trailhead with 500ft. elevation drop. Be prepared to huff, and sweat, and quietly curse to yourself hiking back up at the end of the day with tools. 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
