Buck Mountain Loop at Silver Falls State Park

This trail has become the leader's favorite hike.  There are no waterfalls, but there are many old growth trees and lots of green ferns, etc. It's a gorgeous hike!  While the usual Silver Falls trails will likely be crowded with hikers, on the Buck Mountain Trail, we will only encounter a few horses and bikes-very manageable.  Be prepared for some muddy conditions though.  Please contact the leader by Noon the day prior to learn the meeting place and time.
