Mt. Hebo


Lake Hebo to Mount Hebo Summit on the Pioneer Indian Trail. 
Out and back trail totaling 9 miles with 1500 feet of elevation gain. 
Moderate pace. 
We should see a few late wild flowers.
Weather permitting there will be amazing views of the Oregon coast and of the Cascade Mountains.
After the hike we will drive up to the WW II Hebo radar station for a little history lesson before returning home. 
We will meet at the Airport Road Park and Ride at 8 am for car pooling.

Difficulty: Hard

Pace: Moderate

Hiking Distance: 9 miles RT.

Elevation Gain: 1500 feet.

Driving Distance: 125 miles RT.

HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
