Washington Park
We start at the Portland zoo parking lot and hike through the Hoyt Arboretum to the Pittock Mansion. The mansion rose garden offers an expansive view over Portland. We may decide to tour this fascinating century old structure. Next we hike to the Audubon bird hospital and bookstore and have a snack. The final leg returns through another section of the Hoyt Arboretum and ends with a loop through the wonderfully designed Oregon Vietnam Memorial.
