Wahkeena & Multnomah Falls Loop
This hike takes us 1,500 feet up the side of the Columbia Gorge, past five waterfalls, and over several historic stone footbridges. Much of the trail is in forest but there are several nice views out over the Columbia River. Some trail segments are steep and may be muddy. Good hiking boots are recommended. We may stop at the historic Multnomah Lodge for refreshments, if it is not too busy, before hiking the final .8 mile to the trailhead.
