Opal Creek
We will start hiking the pleasantly primitive road that crosses Gold-Creek on a 60-foot-high bridge. at the 2 mile mark we will take a short side trail to view the 30-foot- high Sawmill Falls. Getting back on the road , we shortly turn on the somewhat rough but idyllic Opal Creek trail and continue to Opal Pool where we cross the creek on a footbridge tp get to Jawbone Flats, an old mining town. We stop for lunch there and return to our cars by walking the old mining road . Bring all your essentials and a happy mood .
