Opal Creek

We will start hiking the pleasantly primitive road that crosses Gold-Creek on a 60-foot-high bridge. at the 2 mile mark we will take  a short  side trail to view  the 30-foot- high Sawmill  Falls. Getting back on the road , we shortly turn on the somewhat  rough  but idyllic Opal Creek trail and continue to Opal Pool where we cross the creek on a footbridge  tp get to Jawbone Flats, an old mining town. We stop for lunch there and return to our cars  by walking the old mining road . Bring all your essentials and a happy mood .
