Thanks to Marcia Kenagy for leading this hike into the Table Rock Wilderness for the ailing leader (Mary Coleman, me). Rooster Rock is on the other side of the wilderness from the usual hikes, so they saw no other hikers. They did see a beautiful forest and stunning displays of wild flowers in the meadows. The first mile+ of this hike is steep, but follows the ups and downs of the ridge after that. Eight happy hikers were: Marcia Kenagy, Joanne Schiedler, Randy Selig, Sumon Montri, Jill Wilson, Nanci Chambers, Blanka Truneckova, and Ann Adamcik. Thanks to the hikers who sent me pictures so I could see the flowers.
