Our happy group of nine did the trail clockwise and really loved it! The switchbacks to the peak offered a carpet of color, and the views were great. We reached the summit platform for an early lunch, and then paused again on the ridge before Cone Meadows for more flowers and views. Hikers included Claire Kraus, Nadene LeCheminant, Dave McKenna, Dan Moung, Roz Shirack, Blanka Truneckova, Diana Villanueva, Mary Wandell, and leader Mady Kimmich.
