It could not have been a better day to hike this Coast Range trail. Members Ann Adamcik, Rick Jorgensen, and leader Becky Hickox enjoyed perfect weather while hiking through a lovely and varied forest to the top of Mt Hebo where we had lunch while gazing out over the calm Pacific. We had the whole place to ourselves as we roamed the area reading about the history of this former USAF base and catching a glimpse of Mt Hood between the trees.
