Bravely facing some serious wind and rain, Pat Fuhrman, Emily Wieczorek, and leader Becky Hickox modified the walk to stick to paved paths and set out. Since we were sticking to the south end of the park, Emily took over as our guide and led us to and over the bridge into Riverfront Park. The weather calmed down after the first 20 or 30 minutes, and we enjoyed this beautiful path through lots of autumn color. And how many of you knew about the bench pictured below? Emily pointed it out just before the bridge on the island side.
