Stahlman Point

Mary Coleman | Published on 5/12/2025
Four women had an absolute blast hiking Stahlman Point.  Endorphins and hiker's high were discussed when we tried to explain our wide grins all the way to Rosie's for post-hike treats.
The weather report threatened rain all day, but to our delight we had only one short shower on the way down.  Another amazing thing was we had the trail to ourselves!  We had a perfectly timed bald eagle flyover at the summit. We saw our first bear grass of the year.
The best part for this old leader was escorting 3 women new to our club and new to Oregon.  They were fabulous and we are lucky to have them joining us. I am encouraging them to come to our Mt. Adams Annual Outing this summer.
My new friends are: Darlene Jordan, Helen Wong and Hilda (the Andean Goat) Rueda.  Leader, Mary Coleman.

of the season on Stahlman Point trail.
