Adams Glacier is the largest of the seven glaciers on Mt Adams.
Photo 2: Hikers enjoyed a rest in Adams Glacier Meadow at 6,800 feet with the glacier and large terminal moraine in the background. This spot provided great views of not only Mt Adams, but also Mt St Helens, Mt Rainier, and Goat Rocks. Heather, partridge-foot, Indian Paintbrush, low penstemon, and blue gentian were spread through the meadow. Hikers left to right are: Lanell Carlson, Randy Selig, Rick Cooper, Elly Collier, Karie Hutchings, and Andrea Stomberg.
