Chemeketans Peggy Morris, Katy Dockter, Steve Williams, Ruth Braun, Martin Doerfler, and Mary Liepins were duly impressed with leader Becky Hickox's ability to pick the only dry day in a very wet week to lead a hike through Willamette Mission State Park where late fall was in full splendor. We were the only hikers for most of the morning (along with plenty of geese). We ended the lovely walk with a ride on the Wheatland Ferry.
