Mary's Peak adventure

A chilly, drippy morning turned into a sunny, gorgeous adventure! Six hikers decided to believe the weather report and head up to Mary's Peak. Initially, it was cold and misty( or maybe just water dripping from the trees?), but the higher we climbed, the clearer the sky became! When we reached the summit, we could see all the mountains to the east, though the western view was still socked in. Part of our return trail ( the Tie Trail) is a magical place and it did not disappoint! There is something about that trail that just transports you to another realm.
The 6 hikers who trusted the weather forecast were; Linda Jurgenson, Denise Walter, Pam Thomas, Nancy Chambers, and Eileen Harder(leader). Marcia Kenagy, once again, was our photographer.
