About this event
The Pioneer-Indian Trail up Mt. Hebo in the Coast Range winds through forest (partly logged) to the top with it's meadows where there should be several kinds of flowers in bloom. We'll hope for a clear day so we can enjoy the view which takes in much of northwestern Oregon from Haystack Rock to the Cascades. Sullivan rates this "hard," but the trail doesn't have many steep spots, so those who enjoy a medium difficulty hike with some elevation gain should do fine.
Difficulty: Medium / Hard
Driving distance: 150 miles RT.
Hiking distance 6.4 miles RT.
Elevation gain 1500 feet.
Qualifying Activity: Yes
