BACKPACKING IN THE ITALIAN ALPS - John Eells will show you why he thinks the Italian Alps are one of the best places to backpack in the entire world: green valleys, mountain scenery, excellent long distance trail infrastructure, numerous cozy hostels that make carrying a tent unnecessary, fascinating history, most interesting local culture and lore and excellent food! The locals speak German and Italian, but English will get you through. And if you want to climb a mountain, you can do that too.<br /><br />Because we will be indoors, this event is open only to those who are fully vaccinated and correctly-worn masks are required.
