Climbers

Mt Adams TR 5/31-6/1

The mountains have been temperamental this spring. Kudos to all of you for making the attempt!

Shonee

Sounds like a grand adventure and I love the reflections included at the end!

Recognizing that there is potential for some climbers to not get the same amount of time at a break due to individual climbing speed vs. group speed is spot on.
Juggling the needs and speeds of a large group is no easy task and I applaud you Chris for your thoughtfulness with the climbers as well as the incoming weather systems! So much to juggle!

Well done!

Had the privilege to climb with a team of 11 up to Pikers Peak (Mt. Adams false summit) before having to turn around due to poor weather conditions made pushing beyond a safety hazard. Despite not reaching the summit, we enjoyed our time on the mountain and enjoyed beautiful views at Lunch Counter and some limited glissading.
