South Sister Trip Report (6/5 - 6/6)

Thanks Neal for the fun report.

A big thank you too to Ellen and Cathy for persevering with the climb, rolling with the cancellations, and selecting two days of perfect weather conditions in the end :) In all the times I've been on S. Sister I've never had such great snow conditions for summit day, as well as amazingly clear views from Rainier to Shasta. 'A really enjoyable couple of days with a fun group.

Best, Aislinn

oooops. the dates neal had were one of our cancellations. actual dates:june 12-13!!! summit june 13,2024. ;)

Nice job Neal and Crew (Shout out Munter Bitches!)

And yes, the chair was worth it:)

Great write up Neal! Sounds like a fun crew. I've had my share of tent mates that should've been sent to "Gates" for the night, haha.

I had been counting on Chris Leesman to bring his portable sleeping pad air pump on our Mt. Olympus trip, but he opted to carry a camp chair 15 miles instead :)
