East Portland: Powell Butte Nature Park
About this event
Powell Butte is an extinct cinder cone volcano and the Nature Park consists of 600 acres of forests of Western red cedar, groves of wild hawthorn trees, wetlands, and open meadows. Abundant wildlife populates the park including many birds of prey. We will meet in the NE corner of the lot (close to the mailboxes) of Roth's Hayesville, 4746 Portland Road NE. Pre-register for departure time (text preferred). This hike is open to 10 fully vaccinated participants only!
