Howdy everyone,
This past weekend I led a group up Mt. Thielsen on an non-traditional route given the recent fires.
We were lucky to have all 6 climbers reach this fun summit.
Please see the TR here.

Congrats to all of you! Nice lead Chris L, and way to improvise. Big kudos to Chris S for stepping in at the last minute.
Maybe I’ll have to try out this overnight route next time I do Thielsen. It’s always nice to spend a night on the trail.

Well done Leesman on improvising and congrats on the summit to all the team!
Sad to miss this one. Extra kudos to Salaz for stepping in last minute.

Nice trip report and I'm really glad that you opted to actually spend the night out. That's the best thing about climbing- being in the wilderness! Congrats to all. And good observations, Chrius, regarding pace (speaking as someone who is slower ;-).
