Coyote Wall, Columbia Gorge.
This is a spring loop trip in the Coyote Wall area. Early wild flowers could be in abundance depending on the early spring conditions. Any trip on Coyote Wall also affords great views of the Columbia River Gorge area. Grass Widows should be in bloom along with other early species. There are several loops in the Coyote Wall area, about the same or less than the stated trip details. One slightly different trip starts at Coyote Wall and ends at Catherine Creek. However, this trip would require two cars. We will decide on which trip to do depending on the desire of the participants. We will pick a nice spot for lunch. The gorge area can experience windy and/or rain squall conditions so bring along wind/rain gear. The Gorge has poison oak in some areas. We will try to avoid those areas. But if you have a severe reaction to poison oak this probably is not the trip for you. Call to pre-register and for departure time. Meet in the NW corner of Roth's parking lot on Portland Rd.
