Metolius River

About this event

Yep--it's a long drive, but it's a pretty one with a unique destination and several attractions.  The hike starts at the Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery and goes past where the Metolius dramatically begins with a dozen springs bursting out from the base of Black Butte.  Depending on time, we can also take a look at Camp Sherman and Suttle Lake.  I'm familiar with the Suttle Lake area but have not done this hike.  It is, however, a popular trail with straightforward directions.  Bring water, lunch, and snacks.  Register by July 4 (no texts, please).
