About this event

We will hike through thick evergreen forest with bridges and creeks in Beazell Forest County Park near Philomath. It is a very nice spot for birding and solitude. Then we will drive a short distance to nearby Fort Hoskins History Park for a short hike and a history lesson, ending there with a picnic lunch under the gazebo. Restrooms available at both sites. Register with trip leader via e-mail who will confirm meeting place and time 2 days prior to hike

Hiking Distance: 6 miles RT

Elevation Gain: 900 feet

Driving Distance: 80 miles RT
