Rooster Rock in Old Cascades

This is a well-graded trail to the top of Rooster Rock. A variety of wildflowers line the trail. Most of the trail is in forest until the last .5 mile. Views from the top include rugged forested ridges.

Pace: Moderate
Hiking Distance: 6.6 miles RT.
Elevation Gain: 2,300 feet.
Driving Distance: 150 miles RT.

MÉDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
