Ruth Bascom Willamette Riverbank Path - Eugene
About this event
This 7.7 mile loop near Eugene is a mostly shaded, paved path along both sides of the Willamette River. There will be information signs, mileage markers and beautiful views of the river along the way. We will pass by Skinner Butte Park, Owen Rose Garden, and Maurie Jacob’s Park.
Please contact Sandra (text preferred) by noon the day before (Nov. 13) to sign up for this hike and to get more information on where and when we will meet. Please bring a snack or lunch as we will find somewhere to have a lunch break.
Difficulty: Easy
Pace: Moderate
Hiking Distance: 7.7 miles RT.
Elevation Gain: 124 feet.
Driving Distance: 130 miles RT.

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet

HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
