Silver Falls: Trail of about 7 to 8 falls
About this event
The hike will begin at South Falls where we will hike into the canyon. We will stay on the canyon trail until we get to Winter Falls, where we will hike up to the Rim Trail for the return to South Falls Lodge. We may have lunch on the trail or wait until we get to the lodge, based on the group's preference. Expect muddy conditions (but rain will increase the volume of water coming over the falls)! Please contact the leader by NOON the day prior to learn the meeting place and time.

Elevation Gain: 500 feet.
Driving Distance: 50 miles RT.

The Trip Leader is the event coordinator. The Trip Leader has the final say over who may participate in the event.
Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MÉDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
