Sandy River Delta Boundary, Meadow, and Old Channel Loop - Troutdale

This wide, flat trail is a 4.0-mile loop trail and takes you through meadows and forests. There is a $5.00 per vehicle per day fee or display a valid pass (NW Forest Pass, America the Beautiful, or Golden Age/Access Pass). Bring a lunch or snack as we will find somewhere on or off the trail to take a break.

Sign up with Sandra (text preferred) before noon the day before (12/11/23) to get information on where and when to meet. Carpools are not guaranteed and are up to each individual member if they want to drive or have other people in their car.

Difficulty: Easy

Pace: Moderate

Hiking Distance: 4 miles RT.

Elevation Gain: 55 feet.

Driving Distance: ~120 miles RT.

EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MÉDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
