About this event
The trail starts at Knight County Park on Three Rocks Road and winds beside Savage Road for a short distance. It then climbs through spruce forest to a meadow. If we're lucky, we might see a herd of elk along the way. The route through the meadow to our destination is all open to beautiful views of the Salmon River estuary and the ocean. This is an out and back trail, so one can stop and wait at a lower viewpoint if they don't want to go the full distance.
We'll leave at 7:30 a.m. from Edgewater side of the West Salem Safeway parking lot.
