About this event
We will hike to the Rooster Rock summit, a former fire lookout site, via the Trout Creek trail. This is a great early season hike. Hopefully the rhododendrons and Calypso Orchids will be blooming. Trail is generally well graded, but rocky and steep near the top, so wear good boots. Trail is in the Menagerie Wilderness off of Hwy 20 (not the other Rooster Rock in the Table Rock Wilderness) and limited to 12 people. Email leader to register for hike.
