About this event
Mt. Ellinor Scramble Summit
Come climb Mt. Ellinor in the Olympic Peninsula and enjoy sweeping views of the Olympics, Lake Cushman and the Puget Sound. If we are lucky we will see mountain goats! This is being offered as a slower paced scramble. This does not mean you are not fit!! This is a strenuous 6.2 mile round trip with 3,344 ft. of elevation gain from the lower trailhead. We will just be going slightly slower than the general mountaineering gain of 1,000 ft.per hour. If you are impatient with this pace, you need not apply. I am accepting a small team of up to six climbers and being a scramble summit, the route will be snow free. .
