Buck Mountain Loop — Silver Falls State Park

About this event

The Buck Mountain Loop is a quiet refuge in Silver Falls’ expansive backcountry, and autumn is a great time to visit, when the brilliant yellow maple leaves contrast with the dark green of mossy, old-growth conifers. We may have to share the trail with an occasional horse, but this is still one of my favorite hikes.

This hike is limited to 8 participants. The trail may be muddy and wet. Hiking poles and waterproof boots are recommended.
