Middle Sister/ North Sister
About this event
This will be a great trip if we get a nice fall weather window. I do not have a prospectus yet, so here's an overview.
On Day 1 we'll hike in from the Pole Creek Trailhead to Camp Lake, where we will set up camp in a spectacular setting between the Middle and South Sisters. On Day 2 we'll scramble the SE Ridge of Middle Sister, then break camp, hike a few miles, and set up a new camp closer to the base of North Sister around 7000'. On Day 3 we'll get an early start to climb North Sister (either via the SE Ridge, or the saddle between the North and Middle Sisters). We will then break camp, hike out and head home.
Contact me at shoneelangford@gmail.com to apply or ask questions. If I haven't climbed with you recently, please provide a summary of relevant, recent climbing experience and what you do to stay fit.
I will take applications until end of day Sunday, September 8th, and will announce the team by end of day Monday the 9th. I will give preference to climbers who intend to climb both mountains, but if the climb doesn't fill I will allow team members who are only interested in joining for one summit. Please let me know if you are interested in one or both.
