Sitka Sedge State Natural Area

About this event

The Sitka Sedge trail is a mix of open marsh, woodland and ocean beach.  Depending on wind conditions, we can walk on the beach part of the way or stick to the woods.  If the group wishes, we can also walk the short loop at the close-by Clay Myers Natural Area. The tide will be receding when we start out on the trail, so there will be no problems walking on the beach.
