Oregon City History Walk - Oregon City
About this event
Oregon City is full of history, especially of the indigenous peoples and early settlers. We'll start with the hour tour of the newly-restored John McLoughlin House ("The Father of Oregon"). We'll then ride the unique municipal elevator and walk the McLoughlin Prominade with great views of the Willamette Falls. At the end of the Prom is the Museum of the Oregon Territory ($7 seniors, $8 others) and the Highland Stillhouse where we'll have lunch. Limit 8. Please register before June 24 (no texts).

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
