Expectations:
This climb involves a long approach. We have the expectation of excellent physical conditioning and understanding proper gear selection to minimize weight. It is suggested that you wear either trail runners or comfy lightweight boots and carry mountaineering boots or use a good pair of hiking boots that can do it all comfortably for the duration of travel. Crevasse dangers do exist on the mountain but are generally lower risk.
Be proficient with an ice ax & crampons on snow. Understand crevasse rescue systems.
