Diamond Peak Scramble, Full Taking Alternates
About this event
Diamond Peak Scramble Summit
Classification: U, Unrated
Elevation Gain: 3,809 Miles: 11.2 Elevation: 8,744 ft.
The cłimb up Diamond Peakʼs south ridge from Rockpile Traiłhead is a nontechnical scramble. The summit is spectacular and offers views of the rest of Diamond Peak's arms and huge views of the entire Oregon Cascades. The July 12 date is a placeholder date just to get the scramble on the schedule. The route needs to be snow free. As we get closer, the actual date may need to change. I can take a team up to 12 members. The Sawtooth/Cowhorn scramble, also in the Diamond Peak Wilderness will occur the following day on Sunday. You do not need to sign up for both scrambles.
Prospectus is attached without a date.
