About this event
Starting at the South Shore of Detroit Lake, the trail leads up and through a partly burned forest. There is a scramble at the end to an old lookout with views of the lake and surrounding mountains which is a good spot for lunch break.
Like always, bring plenty of water, wear boots and bring poles which are especially useful on the way down off the lookout.
