About this event

We will hike the 3 mile Eagle Marsh loop trail that begins at the Eagle Marsh viewing area on Buena Vista Road. This trail is flat and we will be walking on a mowed grass trail around two large ponds where we will see turtles and ducks. In the trees we might see a variety of songbirds and likely a bald eagle. Afterwards we will hike the two boardwalk trails which will add another 1.5 miles. Wear hiking boots, bring water, binoculars and a lunch or snack. Hiking poles are optional. We will eat lunch at the Ankeny Hill Nature Center where there are restrooms available. Call the leader to register: 503-428-3016
