The 2026 Annual Outing in
The Coastal Redwoods near Klamath, CA
To reserve your space at the 2026 Outing, please do the following by July 2, 2026:
1. Use your Chemeketans login and password to activate the online registration process.
2. Complete a registration form online (preferred) OR print the registration form, fill it in and mail it to Chemeketans Outing Registrar, PO Box 864, Salem, OR 97308.
3. Agree to the Liability and Assumption of Risk in the online registration process and sign it on your touchscreen device or with your mouse. If you cannot sign it online, print the form here, sign it and mail it to the address on the form or give it to the registrars when you arrive at the Outing. An Outing Liability and Assumption of Risk form must be completed for EACH camper that you register. If you register by mail, please mail the Liability and Assumption of Risk form along with your registration form to the address in #1.
The Liability and Assumption of Risk form applies to the Outing and any other days you and any minors you register are onsite or participating in Outing activities. It also applies to Truck Loading and Unloading. Read carefully before proceeding with registration.
4. Submit payment online OR send a check to the address in #1.
Reservations might be accepted after July 2, 2026, if space is still available.
Registrations are not considered complete until full payment and Liability forms are received.
Non-Members: In order to register for the Outing, non-members must first sign up for membership. They can start that process by clicking on Become a Member on the Chemeketans website.
Members of groups associated with the Federation of Western Outdoor Clubs (FWOC) may sign up by printing and mailing registration and liability forms along with the same fee as members.
Online Registration: To register online, please press the "Register Now" button on the lower-right of this page and follow the directions.
Print Registration Form: We encourage online registration, but if that is not possible, please download and print these forms: 2026 Outing Reservation Form. and 2026 Outing Liability and Assumption of Risk Form. Registrants who are not Chemeketans but are members of the Federation of Western Outdoor Clubs (FWOC) must use the printed form. Fill in and mail the forms to Chemeketans Outing Registrar, PO Box 864, Salem, OR 97308
Waiting Lists: If a week has filled, online registration will not be available for that week. Submit a paper registration to be placed on a waiting list, and you will be notified if space becomes available.
Partial Week Registration: Campers are expected to register and attend for full weeks. Partial week registration (1 to 3 days) is not encouraged but is acceptable if space is still available after July 2nd.
Duty Signup: Duty signup will be done online before camp this year. After completing numbers 1-3 above, look for confirmation of your completed registration in your email along with instructions and a link to SignupGenius for signing up for duties online. Go to that link to sign up for duties as soon as possible, in order to have maximum choice. Each participant must sign up for four duties. Participants may sign up for duties for other members in their family or group. Duties may be added or redistributed slightly at camp as the need arises. Covid-19: Although proof of vaccination will not be required for registration, up-to-date Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged as well as masking when appropriate. Please be aware of and be ready to comply with COVID-19 Guidelines for Chemeketans Activities 11.14.23
Outing activities are mostly outdoors, but we still eat and work together in close proximity. It is our hope that following Covid protocols and hygiene will keep us from spreading other communicable diseases also, and everyone will be able to stay and enjoy their full week of hiking and adventure.

Cancellation Policy:
To cancel a registration, notify the Outing Treasurer in writing prior to your scheduled arrival date. Cancellations by July 11th will receive a refund less the $50 non-refundable portion per camper per week. For an emergency cancellation after July 11th, a partial refund would be considered by the Outing Committee after a written request to the Outing Treasurer. No-show campers will not receive a refund.
