Climb Workshop - Multi Pitch Rappel and Passing a Knot

About this event

The goal of this ½ day workshop (9am – 2pm) is to review and practice how to manage the belay station change overs when rappelling a multi-pitch route.  The second skill being practiced will be how to rappel past a knot if necessary.

The above techniques will first be demonstrated and then we will then get some hands-on practice while under the watchful eye of experienced climbers. We will be climbing at Owl slab which is a small 50-foot slab near Mary’s Peak and has around eight sport routes.

I am caping the group size to 6 students.  If the weather does not allow us to safely climb, the event will be rescheduled.
