Baskett Slough

About this event

Our trail at Baskett Slough is a mix of graveled paths, nature trails and gravel roads.  We'll walk to the overlook first, through the woods and then take the loop clockwise past two ponds and alongside Morgan Lake. The meadowlarks might be singing or there could be interesting ducks on the lake, so you may want to join me in carrying binoculars.

Part of the trail only opens for the season on May 1, which means that I may not be able to scout trail conditions ahead of time. Since it is spring in Oregon, please be prepared for possible showers and mud.  We’ll plan to stop for a snack at the bench by Morgan Lake.

Please email or text the leader for time and meeting place.
