Cascade Head

About this event

This iconic coastal hike takes you up to amazing vistas of  Salmon River estuary,  Devils Lake and the ocean. The trail passes through a spruce forest and then opens out to grassy headlands where you'll see wildflowers and perhaps a herd of elk.  The trail has steep patches, roots, rocks, etc. so poles are highly recommended. Bring lunch and be prepared for any sort of weather. Contact leader for meeting place and time.
