Old Santiam Wagon Road

About this event

The Santiam Wagon Trail is a remnant of the toll road from the valley to Sisters.  It begins at House Rock campground and runs along the Santiam river through bigleaf maples and oxalis in the spring with a few stream crossings, running down to the highway and then back again.  For those wanting more, it can continue upstream until it reaches a road, after which it gets less interesting.
