Rooster Rock/Table Rock Wilderness
About this event
The meadows of flowers along the Rooster Rock trail are always blooming in early July. The trail starts steeply for a mile and then meanders along the ridge line until we reach "Chicken Rock", a rough stub of rock left from an old volcano with great views. Returning to the trail, we will follow through several other meadows to our lunch viewpoint.
