Iron Mountain

About this event

This hike is limited to 8 hikers and requires a second driver. Hikers need to wear boots, carry a lunch, water and hiking poles. After we switchback through lovely old growth forest we will be able to see beautiful rock gardens of wildflowers and enjoy views at the summit.

Difficulty: Hard

Pace: Moderate

Hiking Distance: 8 miles RT

Elevation Gain: 1800 feet

Driving Distance: 150 miles RT

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
