Perimeter Trail - Silver Falls State Park
About this event
This hike does not include any waterfalls, but its lush beauty combined with lots of summer shade and no crowds has made it popular with many Chemeketans. The trail is sometimes part of a longer loop, but this hike will be an up and back. Different devices register different trail lengths ranging from 6.5 to 7.5 miles. Please register by Sept. 3 via email or phone (no texts) and indicate if you'd prefer meeting at the trailhead, carpooling from south Keizer, or carpooling from the state motor pool. If you register by email, please include a phone number. Limit: 12.

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
